MAR 2026 - The Teviot Row House complex reopened on 4th March. The Library Bar still has real ale. Further details eg food to be confirmed. There is also another bar - Union Social, with longer opening hours but no real ale. JAN 2026 - March 2026 reopening confirmed by EUSA. AUG 2025 Still closed for refurbishment. Run by the Edinburgh University Students' Association (EUSA) but open to the general public. Comfortable and friendly bar in the basement of Teviot Row House, a traditional University building surrounded by modern monstrosities. Real library shelves and old books occupy much of the wall space. NOTE: May stay open later. Opening times are reduced outwith term time.
