This long established excellent traditional bar, with upstairs cocktail lounge (which can be privately booked), re-opened after a ten year absence in 2022. It welcomes both locals and visitors alike and hosts frequent open mic music evenings. Many of the old features such as the spectacular bar gantry, cornices and panelling have been retained and refurbished. The real ales are generally from smaller breweries. Children are not admitted. NOTE: May close earlier if quiet during the week.
