See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.
A cosy little pub in the village centre with a corner bar, wooden floor and real fire that was refurbished in 2021 to give a lighter feel. Steps lead up to a dining area. The two real ales are usually from Scottish or Northumbrian breweries. A second bar, reached by a separate entrance, may be open when busy or for functions. Meals are served all day and there's a children's menu. The beach and St Abbs Head nature reserve are nearby. NOTE: Opening times are reduced in winter, often closes early if not busy.
