JULY 2025 - Opened 29th August with four real ales. Many details may change. No meals at present. Signage and mirror in the public bar proclaims 'Brow's', after a former licensee Mrs Brow. MAY 2025 - Major work in progress, It is expected it will be another 10 weeks or so before finished so looks like August at earliest for the reopening. NOV 2024 - Still closed - Has been bought by a local person who wishes to restore its historic features and run it as a pub. Expected to not reopen until May25 at earliest as lots of work to be done. MAY 2024 - Business now in liquidation. APR 2024 - Closed since January. JAN 2024 - Chinese meal takeaway service only from Thursday - Sunday 4.30pm to 9.30pm please call 0131 449 2888 to order. Currently still no meals being served in the pub. Traditional stone-built village pub, dating from the 18th century. The cosy public bar retains some original features including wood panelling and a fine Bernard's mirror. The pleasant lounge is furnished with tables and chairs and have a tartan carpet. Dogs are allowed in the bar with biscuits and water provided. A large function room is available for events and there is an enclosed outdoor covered area.
