A friendly three-roomed pub dating from 1830 and close to the oldest golf course & local racecourse. The lively public bar is a great place for a blether with sporting pictures, golf & racing, plus old photos of the area, it is half-timber panelled with wood effect floor. Dominoes is regularly played and the TV often shows sporting events. A smaller area leads off, with a dartboard. The pleasant lounge, where families are welcome until 8pm, has a hardwood floor and comfortable seating and now contains a second dartboard used for matches. No food is served.
