Much altered, open-plan tenement pub with varied seating areas and large windows giving a bright feel. There is an attractive shaped gantry and the original wooden bar top survives, complete with the wooden bases for the old tills. Some attractive stained glass also survives in the windows and doors.
Upmarket pub style food is served all day and tables can be reserved with continental-style table service available.
Well chosen retro-music is played at low volume.
Handy for Royal Botanic Gardens and Water of Leith Walkway.
