Large, comfortable, town centre lounge bar with an all-day friendly community feel. Handy for the beach, buses, shops, churches, restaurants and carry-outs. The fortnightly quiz on Thursdays and live music on Saturdays (as advertised) attract customers from far and wide. There is frequent sport on TV day and night. The two handpumps are rather concealed behind a wood-panelled pillar in the centre of the bar. Check also the mini blackboard. No food served on Mondays. Frequent Best Bar None Gold Award winner.
