MAR 2026 - Taken over by James Findlay, from the Waterside Bistro in Haddington (16th March). Some changes are being made to the bar area but Summer Lightning is being retained as a regular real ale .Attractive hotel overlooking the village green with its coat of arms suspended from wooden posts. The cosy locals’ bar, with wood-burning stove, is where you will find the handpumps. The larger lounge bar is set up for dining and there is also an elegant lounge area across the corridor. Food is served evenings Monday to Friday and all day Saturday and Sunday. A children's menu is provided. NOTE: May close early if quiet.
