See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.
A specialist real alehouse, offering unusual and interesting real ales from all over the UK and holding occasional beer festivals. The staff are keen and knowledgeable and the real ale selection is complemented by a good range of other quality beers and spirits. The bright front area offers plenty of seating and space for vertical drinking, while the rear has low tables and sofas. Both boast mirrors from lost breweries, including Murray’s and Campbell’s. A handy stop for those walking the Water of Leith path. Children are not admitted. CAMRA Edinburgh Pub of the Year runner up 2023.
