The Plough reopened in May 2024 under the new ownership of Diane & Rab Black. The attractive single room has a wooden floor, a brick bar counter and is furnished with tables and chairs. The food (Sep 24) concentrates on speciality pies and sharing platters but additional items are being added such as loaded fries. There is also coffee and cake available all day. Beer wise, there is a Tempest cask ale along with other Tempest keg ales. Further updates will follow as the new owners settle in.
