JUNE 2024: The Plough reopened in May under the new ownership of Diane & Rab Black. Though initially only open Thu - Sun evenings, they have plans to increase this as they settle in as well as looking to restart their accommodation. The food currently concentrates on speciality pies and sharing platters but the Blacks hope to extend this when daytime opening starts as well as having a drop-in cafe service Beerwise, Tempest Opus is popular in cask and there are other Tempest keg ales available.
