See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.
This well appointed roadside hotel and garden sits adjacent to the cricket ground and village green, and it is the only hostelry in the village. The well appointed lounge bar with its half-panelled walls and large real fire attracts a mixed clientele including hunters, fishers and shooters and can be busy at peak meal-times. Meals are served all day in the lounge bar and also a Bistro with a more extensive menu. Children are welcome with an outdoor play area and menu provided.
