A classic Scottish bar in a listed building with dark wooden interior, fine bar gantry and stained/leaded glass windows, tastefully refurbished in 2022. Popular with a varied clientele from the local community and those using the adjacent station. Very busy when Heart of Midlothian are at home. An upstairs lounge is now a cocktail bar and there is a bar annexe down two steps. Meals, with a traditional Scottish pub fayre theme, are served all day. Children are not admitted.
