This tiny, welcoming beer-lovers' haven has made great strides with the provision of real ale since starting with a pin on the bar in 2016 and now with three handpumps, 2 featuring small local breweries not seen much in other pubs and 1 with real cider. In addition there is a splendid selection of world beers, some of which are bottled conditioned, and interesting range of ciders, so the pub is an excellent choice for the discerning drinker. The interior has a "distressed" style with a small open fire adding to the ambiance. Children are not admitted.
