JUL 2025 - reopened under new ownership and with a new manager. With three handpumps, real ale is expected to feature regularly soon, including a house ale. Food service to start at some point. JUL 2024: Remains closed and no updates available OCT 2023: Has closed down and tenants have departed Set in the main square of a remote 18th century planned weaver's village, this hotel has a bright split level bar. The upper level, with a real fire, serves as a dining area while the lower area near the bar counter has art-deco style wooden panelling. Prints of London adorn the walls and the Encyclopaedia Britannica is available for reference. Quite a locals' haunt, but with many visitors as well
