To the rear is a pleasant coffee/dinning lounge while upstairs there is a large restaurant with modern styling and an attractive garden. The emphasis is on local produce, especially the steaks which reflects the owners previous occupation as a butcher. Lunches are not served Monday to Thursday, but food is served all day on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Stained glass windows and a roof top statue indicate the hotel's former name of the Red Lion.
