Characterful, lively, small public bar situated close to the Festival Theatre with regular folk music sessions. It comprises one narrow room with L-shaped bar and superb wooden gantry. Captain's Ale is sometimes sold and is from Marston's but Real ales from local breweries preferred by the management. Children are not admitted. Permission for pavement tables has been requested.
