In the same family ownership for over 20 years, this 18th-century village inn nestles under the Lammermuir Hills. The bar is cosy and welcoming, with half-panelled walls, a crimson colour scheme and an exposed stone wall with large wood-burning stove. The inn is popular for food, the impressive menu being served in both the bar and cosy dining room. Families are made very welcome and the inn's two dogs are always keen to say hello.
