A Community-owned pub, run by volunteers from the local area. Stow Station House is a welcoming space which runs a range of events, as well as hosting regular community pub nights on Friday and Saturday evenings.
Attractive pub in the award-winning renovated Station House originally built in 1848 by the North British Railway and immediately next to the Borders Railway station southbound platform. The main area has a modern appearance and a cafe/bistro feel. The decor, a skylight and windows give it a light and airy feel and artworks and railway memorabilia add interest. There is just a small bar in the corner and it may operate as table service only. In addition to the main area there is a meeting room and a small lounge with comfortable arm-chairs.
Not currently serving cask ale. It has a selection of alcoholic, low alcohol, and alcohol free beers served in bottles and cans.
