Attractive pub in the award-winning renovated Station House originally built in 1848 by the North British Railway and immediately next to the Borders Railway station southbound platform. The main area has a modern appearance and a cafe/bistro feel. The decor, a skylight and windows give it a light and airy feel and artworks and railway memorabilia add interest. There is just a small bar in the corner and it may operate as table service only. In addition to the main area there is a pool room and a small lounge with comfortable arm-chairs. Food is available most of the time when open with a carvery is served on Sundays 1-5pm.
