It is our sad duty to report the death of Roger Preece on 17th November. Roger was one of the founder members of this branch 50 years ago and he served in many roles until moving away from the area. Later, he returned and was active in roles as Treasurer, Webmaster, and then served as Chair from 2010 to 2014, until moving away from the area once again. We extend our condolences to his wife Kate and their daughter. An appreciation will be part of the 30th November meeting and, specifically, at the 50th anniversary event in January.
